Calf Muesli Dairy Performa 18% 20kg

Dairy Performa Calf Muesli is a highly palatable blend of crushed cereal grains, legumes, protein meals, lucerne & cereal chaff, vitamins, minerals, an ionophore, molasses and vegetable oil that presents the young calf with a feed that will help stimulate intake of dry feed. Dairy Performa Calf Muesli has been formulated to promote feed intake leading to rapid rumen development. The inclusion of our own scientifically formulated vitamin and mineral premix, containing organic minerals and added B group vitamins aids in healthy growth and development. Bovatec® is included to offer protection against coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zuernii, and to improve feed conversion efficiency. Dairy Performa Calf Muesli should be offered to young calves on an ad-lib basis in conjunction with milk and clean, fresh water. To encourage intakes, uneaten feed should be removed daily and replaced with fresh product. A source of effective fibre (eg cereal hay or straw) should be offered to calves from 14 days of age. When calves are consistently consuming 500grams/head/day they can be introduced to other products in the Counterpoint Stockfeeds Calf range, such as Dairy Performa Calf Starter, Dairy Performa Calf 18, or left on Dairy Performa Calf Muesli until 3 months of age. Milk can be withdrawn and calves weaned when calves are consistently eating 1kg to 1.5kg/head/day over a period of a few days
